Casual Carnage: Saturday October 17th
- Entry-time: 10.45 – 11.15
- First game start: 11.15
- End time: Around 18.00
Welcome to Casual Carnage! The homegame-style event for casual Warhammer enthusiasts! Join us for a day filled with thrilling battles, strategic gameplay, and a vibrant community spirit. Whether you’re here to play some games or enjoy some relaxed hanging out, there’s something for everyone!
The community lives as a Whatsapp Community, where you can find opponents, talk tactics, ask questions and all-in-all join the vibe of the community. The invite link will be shared with you as soon as you register for one of our events (it will be in the confirmation email).
Casual Carnage welcomes:
- Game participants (€16): join the day for as many games as there are tables available! If you plan on playing multiple games, always check with the organizer and other players if anyone is still waiting for their turn
- Chill participants (€6): hang out together, spectate a few games, work on your Pile of Potential, and meet fellow hobbyists
Game participants are allowed to plan games with preferred opponents. First come, first serve will be based on the last registration time, so if the second registration comes too late, you might miss your spot! Finding, picking and announcing opponents will be done in the group chat.
If you’re not looking to play a game, you can also come hang out! Bring your paints, unbuilt boxes and more, or just your presence to spectate games, work on your Pile of Potential and have a laugh together as we grow this community!
Good to know
– Included in the price is lunch, which will be provided based on a poll in the group chat.
– You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks
Restrictions
– No hobby knives allowed for security reasons. If you’re looking to build, please use a mould line remover or something similarly blunt
Matches
– Casual Carnage is all about Casual Warhammer. Most of us are not tournament players, don’t play meta lists, don’t keep track of point efficient picks and don’t look to specifically counter units. We welcome those that do, but kindly request you to accept the Casual part of the community.
– We do not require you to maintain any form of building (WYSIWYG) or painting (battle-ready) standard before playing a game. This is not competitive. We are here to share in the hobby, show off what you brought and enjoy without requirements. We know not everyone can find the time to paint their armies. Everyone’s welcome to come play a game.
– If a ruling is required, ask the next table or one of the organizers
– Be respectful of people, matches, armies and all-in-all the atmosphere
– Be mindful of your allotted time
– Be mindful of personal hygiene
